Elk River to host 4th annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner
The Elk River Fire Foundation, Central Lutheran Church, and Royal Supply, along with community members, will host the 4th annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner at Central Lutheran Church on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event is made possible by a donation from the Elk River Eagles #3264.
The free event is open to the public and aims to bring the community together for a festive Thanksgiving dinner. Last year, approximately 300 meals were served, and organizers hope to exceed that number this year. Meals will be served at the church and delivered to Guardian Angels, Angel Ridge, and Evans Park Senior Living.
Central Lutheran Church is located at 1103 School St., Elk River. The Elk River Fire Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting fire department personnel, their families, and the community. Royal Supply is a local, woman-owned business providing cleaning supplies and products throughout the Twin Cities metro area.
