Preschool or Pre-K Teacher

Creative Kids Academy is looking to hire an experienced preschool or pre-k teacher. Hour options are 8 to 5 or 6:15 to 2:15 Monday thru Friday. Must be lead teacher qualified by DHS

PTO starts to accrue immediately, up to 48 hours per year. PTO increases with years of service.
 
Holiday Pay is paid with full time employment (37.5 hours/week). Major holidays and Black Friday are off and paid for those who are eligible.
 
Wellness Days are offered annually. Each year, staff will be notified of the two days CKA will be closed for staff wellness days. Those eligible for holiday pay will be paid for these days.
 
Life Essentials Fund
We understand that life can present unexpected challenges, surprises, and opportunities. The Life Essentials Fund (LEF) allows each eligible employee to request funds from CKA throughout the calendar year to support you in meeting various life needs. Whether it's covering medical bills, helping you purchase a car, investing in a gym membership, or supporting your child's extracurricular activities, this fund is here to assist you in achieving a better quality of life. These are just a few examples of many qualifying uses. Think of this as your rainy-day fund (this is not a loan and does not need to be paid back to CKA). This fund is available to you after 6 months of employment.
 
Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
Employees working 30+ hours per week are eligible the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Coverage is available for employee, spouse, and dependents. 
 
AFLAC
All employees are eligible to purchase supplemental insurance through AFLAC (life, short-term disability, supplemental dental, cancer, accident, illness, etc.). Coverage is available for employee, spouse, and dependents. The policy premiums are taken via payroll deduction and most claims are paid directly to you. 
 
401K
CKA employees at least 21 years of age and who have worked at CKA for at least 1 year are eligible for 401K. Open enrollment occurs each year in December to start in January and June to start in July. Contributions are to be made in $50 increments. 
 
Bonuses and Annual Increases
Employees are eligible for an annual retention bonus on their anniversary date, birthday bonus, various additional bonus opportunities throughout the year, and an annual pay increase in March of each year.
 
Childcare Discounts
All employees are eligible for a minimum 50% childcare discount. Discount amount varies depending on position and increases with years of service.
 
Growth and Advancement Opportunities 
We are a growing company and pride ourselves on promoting from within, so there are plenty of opportunities for advancement. We offer a paid CDA program for those who want to become teacher qualified. We also offer two paid training days per year.
