April 18 - 19 | Pickle Paradise – Elk River, MN

Grab your paddle and join us for Spring Break in Paradise Pickleball Tournament at Pickle Paradise in Elk River, MN — a fun, competitive tournament designed for great match play, fair divisions, and a smooth tournament experience.

Tournament Format

This event features pool play followed by single-elimination playoffs, with championship and 3^rd place matches played in a best-of-three format.

Pool Play

• Games to 11, win by 2, hard cap at 13
• All teams guaranteed at least 4 games across the entire tournament
• Teams will play multiple opponents

Bracket Play

• Games to 15, win by 2, had cap at 18
• Championship: Best 2 of 3 to 11, win by 2
• Not all teams advance to playoffs

Pool Tie-Breakers

• Win Percentage
• Head-to-head matches won
• Overall point differential
• Head-to-head point differential
• Point differential vs. highest-ranked team

DUPR Division Placement

Team DUPR is calculated using:

• Higher rated player: 80%
• Lower rated player: 20%

Example:
(4.05 × .80) + (3.62 × .20) = 3.964 team rating

Teams must fall within the division range.

We consider DUPR reliability and known DUPR issues when placing teams. If you are unsure of your division, please contact info@pickle-paradise.net — we are committed to fair and competitive play.

DUPR scores will be submitted for all matches.

Division Schedule - to simplify divisions we have 3 MAIN divisions by group.

• Foundation ( up to 2.9 DUPR)
• Competitive (3.0 – 3.75 DUPR)
• Advanced (3.75+ DUPR)
   

Saturday – Mixed Doubles

• 11:00am | Mixed Foundation
• 2:00pm | Mixed Competitive
• 5:00pm  | Mixed Advanced

Sunday – Gender Doubles

• 7:00am | Men’s Foundation
• 9:00am | Women’s Foundation
• 11:00am | Men’s Competitive
• 1:00pm | Women’s Competitive
• 3:00pm | Men’s Advanced
• 5:00pm  | Women’s Advanced

Early Bird (Feb 23 – Mar 31)
$40 per player
Regular (Apr 1 – Apr 18)
$50 per player

• 1st Place: $20 CourtReserve Credit + Pickle Paradise T-shirt or Hat + Can Koozie + Kitchen Drink
• 2nd Place: $10 CourtReserve Credit + Can Koozie + Kitchen Drink
• 3rd Place: Can Koozie + Kitchen Drink

• Lifetime ball
• All paddles must be UPA or USAPA approved
