Elk River YMCA, a leading nonprofit dedicated to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, will celebrate Senior Health & Fitness Day on Wednesday, May 25, 2016.
 
The Elk River YMCA is among several Ys across the Twin Cities that will be participating in the theme to follow the ABC’s of Staying Young at Heart: Stay Active, Stay Brilliant and Stay Calm. Members and guests will enjoy an open house with special events and programs promoting overall well-being through physical fitness, good nutrition, brain health activities, relaxation and meditation, preventive care and more.
 
Activities at the YMCA will include a vendor fair, pickleball, several fitness class samplers, Water exercise, Qigong, reflexology, balance assessments, blood pressure checks, and much more.
 
The Elk River YMCA is proud to engage active older adults every day in activities that build a healthy mind, body and spirit.
