Description
This is a 5k community event for individuals and families to raise funds and awareness of Human Sex Trafficking in our communities/region. We have a lot of fun despite the seriousness of the topic. Children under 12 run free with a paid adult. Parents are free to bring strollers. At least 10% of the funds raised will go to DTN ministries who work in Thailand fighting this issue. The rest will go to bring awareness of human sex trafficking in our communities/region; on the agenda is a November 1 day conference on, " Awareness of Human Sex Trafficking, in Elk River. Awaiting dates on a venue. I will post on here when I get the date. Register for the run/walk online, after April 1st.
