Night to Unite is a unique opportunity for the police department and the business community to unite and promote community involvement in the areas of public safety and crime prevention. Elk River’s participation has thrived each year since its inception 20 years ago. In 2013, 36 separate neighborhood celebrations were held; those in attendance were families, children, and members of our senior community. From single-family developments to apartment complexes, it doesn’t matter what type of home you live in, but it is important to develop a sense of community and get to know your neighbors. Numerous events are happening all over the city.
