Elk River Police Department Citizen's Academy Registration

Elk River Police Department will be holding another Citizen's Academy, a program designed to help strengthen the partnership between public safety professionals and the community by sharing information and promoting a better understanding for public safety services.  It is an eight week program that meets for three hours on Tuesday nights. This years topics include: Defensive Tactics, SWAT, Patrol Functions, Firearms and Range Shooting, Crime Prevention, Drug Trends, Ride-A-Longs and much more! Applications are available on the City of Elk River website, under the NEWS heading or you can pick them up at the police department. Priority is given to residents and people who work in the city. You must be 21 or older to apply. Applications will be processed in the order they are received.
