American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Elk River

Description

The 2015 Relay for Life of Elk river will be held Saturday, August 1, starting at noon.

Teams raise money by getting donations for luminaria bags, which are lit at dusk and remain illuminated throughout the night. Team members take turns walking around the track all night, symbolizing the fact that cancer never sleeps. Relay is a fun-filled event that celebrates survivors, remembers loved ones during the luminaria ceremony and raises money for the fight against cancer. If you have never been to a Relay For Life event, it is truly a moving experience.
