Will begin and end at the Besser Tree - Elk River Police Department 13077 Orono Parkway, Elk River, MN 55330 The after party featuring a wide variety of activities for all ages, will be held immediately after at Orono park.
Fees/Admission
Kids run is free (+$15 if a tshirt is ordered) Adults is $25 if pre-registered by April 22. $30 thereafter

Description
This is a family fun run raising funds for Backing the Blue Line and Officer Besser Memorial Scholarship Fund. Backing the Blue Line is a locally founded 501(c)(3) non profit organization composed of police wives dedicated to the support of the law enforcement community in Minnesota. Officer Besser loved the time he served as an officer and school liaison for Elk River School District. He loved people and especially enjoyed the students. He had a strong relationship with God and was always serving others in the community and our country through his service in the Air Force. He brought a light, fun environment wherever her went and was known for his say - Good Morning Sunshine! We hope to honor him and his service by assisting local area students in their furthering education with the scholarship fund.
