Calling All Chocolate Lovers & Chamber Members! 🍫

Join us on this indulgent local adventure!
Join us for the sweet escape chocolate tour! A fun, chocolate themed marketing program designed to bring extra traffic to your business! This event will attract both new and loyal customers, giving you the chance to “sweeten the deal“ with your own chocolate themed reward for visitors.

How to participate

Who can join: Chamber member businesses

Cost: $45 per business (invoiced by ERACC).

—$15 of this fee contributes to a cash prize of a “Tourist” participating in the event. (Prize amounts will depend on the number of participating businesses.)

What you’ll receive

Advertising in event passports: Each “Tourist” will receive a passport, listing your business location, store/office hours, and the chocolate item or experience your offering.
Increased traffic: Drive walk-ins during a slower time of year – perfect for attracting early Valentine’s shoppers or encouraging them to return soon!
Event promotion: Your business will be featured on the ERACC digital sign on Highway 10.
Tourist Contact list: You’ll receive a list of participating tourist and their contact info (Note: some participants may opt out of sharing their details).

Offer something chocolate to your “Tourist”!

Get creative and have fun with this! Your chocolate offering can be anything that attracts visitors to your business. Here are some ideas:

-A free chocolate treat, like a piece of candy.

-discounts on chocolate themed or chocolate colored items during the event.

-If chocolate is part of your business (e.g., hot chocolate or chocolate ice cream), consider offering samples to showcase your products.

-You could also encourage repeat visits by giving customers a discount coupon to use on a future purchase. The goal is to make your stop on the tour, memorable and exciting for visitors – use your imagination! Make it unique to your business.

Passports

For the tourists

-Tourists ca pick up your passport at any participating destination at No Cost to them.

-The Chamber will provide passports and stamps to each participating business to have on hand.

-Tourists need to present their Passports at participating Destinations to receive their sample/gift/discount and MUST have their Passport Stamped at your business to fill out their Passport to authorize their travel.

-They will then fill out all their contact info in the passport and turn them in at their FINAL DESTINATION.

-prizes will depend on how many businesses participate – at certain levels tourist will receive the designated number of entries for a chance at a cash price! We will provide detailed info on this once we have the final number of Destinations participating.
