SUMMARY:Sherburne County Transportation Plan Open House
DESCRIPTION:Sherburne County is seeking public input on the future of the county transportation system.\n\nThe county is currently updating its long range transportation plan and will be hosting two public information open house meetings to gather input from Sherburne County residents\, businesses\, and commuters.\n\n\n\nOpen House #1: Monday March 12\, 5:30 - 7:30 pm at Zimmerman City Hall\n\nOpen House #2: Thursday\, March 15\, 5:30 - 7:30 pm at Becker City Hall\n\n\n\nDuring the open house\, information will be presented about the purposes and goals of the plan\, the county's existing transportation system\, and the schedule for completion of the plan. Staff will also be available to discuss the plan and answer questions.  (There will be no formal presentation)\n\n\n\nAttendees will be asked to identify issues\, concerns\, and priorities for investment related to the county transportation system. Information collected at the meetings will assist in the development of potential solutions and/or areas for additional study.\n\n\n\nThe plan will address a range of transportation modes including the county highway network\, general transit opportunities\, trails\, freight infrastructure\, and rail within the county.  The final plan is scheduled to be completed in Fall 2018\, and will reflect the issues\, needs\, and priorities identified by users of the county transportation system.
