With nearly 2\,000 employees and an approximate annual local purchasing power of $5 million\, major financial or educational decisions impacting the school district also affect our greater economy.  The district is placing two questions on the November 2\, 2010 ballot.   One question calls for a renewal of existing levy\; the other is asking voters to support a new levy.  With approval of both\, our school district will receive $6 million in renewed and new funding targeted to student achievement.  \n\nChamber member and school district Superintendent Dr. Mark Bezek will talk about these levies and related financial challenges. All chamber members are encouraged to attend and learn the facts\, why passage of these levies is critically important and to ask questions.
