DESCRIPTION:Join us and bring a neighbor for an evening of community as we discuss the book\, Runes of the North\, by Minnesota author Sigurd Olson.\n\n\n\nA prominent environmentalist and nature advocate\, Olson spent his lifetime fighting to protect wilderness areas. Runes of the North is a great example of Olson's ability to tell stories about his experiences in the woods.\n\n\n\nHosted by the Friends of Sherburne\, a gathering to discuss the book will be held April 23 at 6:30 pm at the Oak\n\nSavanna Learning Center at the Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge\, located NW of Zimmerman on the south side\n\nof County Road 9\, approximately 5 miles west of Highway 169.\n\n\n\nThe book is available from public libraries or for purchase in hardcover\, paperback or download.
