Your input is vital to ensuring the plan reflects the vision\, opportunities and future goals of Elk River residents and businesses. \n\n\n\nJoin us on Thursday\, October 29 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the Multipurpose Facility (1000 School St NW) where Tom Leighton\, Project Manager with Stantec\, will provide an overview of Elk River's economy and its unique characteristics relative to similar communities. This brief presentation will be followed by three breakout sessions that will focus on topics such as: 169 Redefine\, business attraction and retention\, redevelopment\, quality of life\, tourism and COVID economics. Attendees will be asked to weigh-in on the goals and priorities of the plan and to share their ideas.\n\n\n\nTo be welcoming to all citizens and encourage broad participation\, we are committed to making the event as safe as possible. To minimize the risk of spreading COVID\, all attendees will be required to wear a mask. We will have pre-arranged seating to provide a minimum of six feet of distancing and the facility will be sanitized. Masks will be available for you to use and take home with you.
