We are also pleased to premiere the newly formed Land of Lakes Men's Choir. \n\n 1:15 2:15 Living History Society Fashion Show \n\n Today is also History Day in Elk River and the Living History Society will present a Fashion Show highlighting dress in the 1860s. \n\n 2:30 3:30 Strings for Youth \n\n Strings for Youth\, sponsored by Community Education and the Elk River Art Alliance\, is the only stringed instrument instruction in our public school. Come and hear these young musicians perform at the Great River Energy Stage. \n\n 3:30 - 4:00 North Ballet Academy Demonstration \n\n We are fortunate to have so many art opportunities in our region. Come see what the North Ballet Academy and the North Ballet Youth Company have to offer you and your family \n\n 4:15-6:45 Chuck Skajewski and his Acoustic Guitar \n\n Chuck is a local artist who plays solo and with the group "THEN & NOW." Chuck and his group perform around town\, in Maple Grove and at many special events \n\n 7:00 9:00 .340 Magnums \n\n .340 Magnums are a five piece high energy band good old Rock-N-Roll\, some old country\, some modern artists like Jason Aldean\, Johnny Cash\, Van Halen and Van Morrison \n\n Sponsored by the Arts Alliance this free\, fun\, family-friendly festival is being held in beautiful downtown Elk River. See artists displaying and selling their work and performing during the day. Local restaurants will be offering outdoor dining and festival foods. Downtown businesses will be having sidewalk sales and special events.
